Art teaching
Regular free school activities for children and youth, in any levels, from the sensitization and stress-revealing art therapy till professional studies and creation process. The main aim of the school is to work and try out complex alternative pedagogical approaches in the field of art, which are free from institutional frames and rules. It focuses on participants’ global skill development, combining variety of art methodologies of each art genres, laying special emphasis on students’ personal competences, improving their self-esteem, creativity and self-expression. Used techniques and art genres:
- Games with the materials: gestures, painting with hands, sketches
- Traditional drawing techniques: charcoal, pencil, ink, pen, Pitt chalk
- Painting techniques: watercolour, pastel, oil pastel, guash, acrylic
- Fantasy pictures, studies, still lives, portraits, wall paintings
- Printing graphics: paper print, lino, screen print, collage, etching,
- Crafts: clay, textile painting, batique, enamel
Talented and persistent students get the chance to become part of an international team after a year, and participate in international art projects and free travellings.
